This policy explains what personal data is processed when you play the Android version of Midnight Bastion (the "game") and when you visit our website (hideawayrealmgames.com).

In short: the game collects no personal data about you and sends nothing to us or to anyone else. It does not ask for internet access, and it has no account, no ads and no analytics. What the game saves stays on your device.

1. Who is responsible

The game is published by Hideaway Realm Games: Varga Szilárd, sole proprietor (e.v.), Daru utca 5., 3770 Sajószentpéter, Hungary, registration number 18782853, tax number 44495158-1-25 ("we").

2. The game collects no personal data

No network. The game asks for no Android permission at all, not even internet access, so it cannot send data.
No account, ads or analytics. You do not need to sign up. The game contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting service.
What stays on your device. The game saves your settings and progress in its own private storage, which other apps cannot read: the language, the volume, the discovered recipes, the Soul Tree, the trophies (with the time you earned them) and your records. A run log you export is saved there too. The default language comes from your device's language, and that also stays on the device.
Uninstalling. If you uninstall the game, this data is deleted with it. The game does not include it in Android's automatic backup.

As we have no access to this data, we do not process it. We hold no game data about you.

3. Google Play

4. This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party content; the fonts and images are served from this site. The hosting provider (Cloudflare, Inc., USA) processes technical data (such as your IP address) to deliver the pages and protect the site; we do not use this data for any other purpose.

5. If you write to us

If you e-mail us, we use your address and message only to answer you, and delete them [RETENTION PERIOD] after the matter is closed. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

6. Children

The game collects no personal data from anyone, children included. The game's age rating: [IARC RATING].

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. As we hold no game data about you, these rights apply to the e-mails you send us; write to us and we will help.

You can lodge a complaint with a data protection authority: in Hungary the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH, naih.hu), or the authority of the country where you live.

8. Changes

If a feature that processes data (for example an online feature or ads) is added to the game, we update this policy before that version is released. The new version is published on this page with its effective date.
